Stage 1 ECU remap

Price

£180

Manufacturers ship engines with conservative, one-size-fits-all calibrations. A Stage 1 remap refines fuelling, boost and timing within safe limits for standard hardware, so the car pulls cleanly through the rev range and responds the moment you ask.

What’s included

  • Pre-tune health check and fault code scan
  • Original software read and backed up
  • Calibration matched to your engine and standard hardware
  • Road test and live data check after the map is written

Good for

  • Flat or hesitant throttle response
  • Towing, motorway overtakes and loaded vans
  • Drivers who want more without changing hardware

DPF cleaning & diagnostics

Price

£200

A diesel particulate filter traps soot and burns it off during regeneration. Short journeys, sensor faults and failed regens let it clog, which brings warning lights, limp mode and poor economy. We find out why it blocked, clean it, and make sure it can regenerate properly again.

What’s included

  • Diagnostic scan and differential pressure sensor check
  • DPF clean to restore exhaust flow
  • Forced regeneration where appropriate
  • Root-cause check so the blockage doesn't come straight back

Signs you need it

  • DPF or engine warning light
  • Limp mode or sudden loss of power
  • Rising fuel consumption
  • Frequent fan running after short trips

AdBlue system solutions

Pricing

AdBlue faults are among the most common reasons modern diesels drop into limp mode or show a countdown to no-start. Pumps, heaters, NOx sensors and injectors all fail. We trace the fault properly instead of guessing at parts.

What’s included

  • Full SCR system scan and live data review
  • NOx sensor, pump, heater and injector testing
  • Repair or replacement of failed components
  • Fault clearing and adaptation resets

Signs you need it

  • "Check AdBlue" or emissions warning
  • Countdown to no-start message
  • Limp mode after refilling

Emissions diagnostics & repair

Pricing

On quote

When a car runs rough, smokes, or throws an emissions light, the cause can sit anywhere from the EGR valve to a single sensor. We diagnose with live data and fix the actual fault, so you pass your MOT and the car runs as it should.

What’s included

  • Fault code read and live data analysis
  • EGR, lambda, NOx and pressure sensor testing
  • Smoke, boost leak and exhaust checks
  • Repair and verification drive

Questions

Good to know.

Is a remap safe for my engine?

A Stage 1 calibration works within the limits of your standard hardware. We check the engine's health before writing anything, and won't tune a vehicle with underlying faults until they're fixed.

Will I need to tell my insurer?

Yes. A remap is a modification, so let your insurer know before you drive away.

Why do you diagnose before cleaning a DPF?

A DPF rarely blocks on its own. A faulty sensor, EGR issue or failed regeneration is often the cause, and if that isn't fixed the filter will block again.

How do I get a price for AdBlue or emissions work?

These faults vary a lot between vehicles, so we quote once we know what's wrong. Send us the make, model and the warning you're seeing and we'll advise on next steps.
